This movie deals with the breakdown of communication, the loss of identity, and the facelessness of corporate life. Anna (Mary McCormack) and Phil (David Aaron Baker) are a young urban couple who appear to have it all. But while Anna informs her therapist (Stockard Channing) that she is having an extramarital affair, Phil confides to his buddy John (Campbell Scott) that though he is having an affair himself, his suspicions of his wife's infidelity are tearing him apart. John then arranges for Phil to meet the city's best private detective, the mysterious Jordan (Peter Gallagher) who warns that he will use any means necessary to end the affair. Phil soon realizes that hiring Jordan has been a terrible mistake that may have grave consequences. As the terror mounts, Anna and Phil's world spins wildly out of control in this erotic mystery thriller that will keep you guessing until its shocking conclusion.
